Alzheimer’s Foundation National Memory Screening Program @ Arden Courts
Dec 21 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

A memory screening is a series of questions and tasks designed to gauge memory, language and thinking skills. Screenings last just 5-10 minutes, and while the results are not a diagnosis, scoring below the normal threshold can signal that someone should follow up with a clinician for a full evaluation. There are a number of reasons a person could be experiencing memory issues, including vitamin deficiencies, thyroid problems and depression.

Especially Designed for Families and Caregivers
If you are caring for someone with dementia,
who is caring for you?

You are not alone. This informational,
supportive group led by Linda Burhans,
author and host of the radio show
“Connecting Caregivers”, will help you to
learn more about the disease as well as understand their
feelings about the changes dementia has made on their
daily lives. Support groups can also help you:
• Learn practical caregiving information
• Get mutual support
• Learn about your local community resources
• Find solutions to challenging behaviors
