Self help for the Caregiver. Informal care giving is a challenging, yet rewarding experience. Understanding how to balance responsibilities by taking care of your needs and involving others helps manage the natural stress and isolation of being a caregiver. Linda will encourage self care, provide emotional support to caregivers in a safe and nonjudgmental environment, and offer access to available resources.

    I have been caring for my mother for about four years now and in the beginning I was managing just fine, but as her condition has gotten worse, I felt like I was not being a good caregiver for her. . My mother and I have always been close, but her dementia has gotten worse and there are more demands on me now. I felt ashamed that I was letting her down even though I was trying so hard. I felt like my life was just spinning out of control and I was feeling overwhelmed by everything. After meeting Linda and a few coaching sessions I feel like a new woman. She helped me in so many ways. Thank you Linda.

    I found Linda almost 2 years ago – at a time when I was completely overwhelmed, caring for my disabled father in addition to being a wife & working mom of 2 busy young teenagers.
